Compassion

1 JOHN 3:17 But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?

I really feel it in my heart to blog on this very important  matter of compassion.  It seems the world we live in today has lost all compassion for humanity. From the animals that God gave us complete authority over, as well as each other. As I drive through our city, all I see is homelessness and lost people. I truly feel like I am living among the blind. A city of zombies you could say, but yet my heart and spirit just aches, and often times I find myself with tears rolling down my cheek. I am living example of when you ask God to give you His compassion and heart, His eyes and ears, His love, You REALLY do get it!! Once again, I am reminded of a song from one of my families favorite artists Casting Crowns, “If we are the body.” Man O’ Man does that song really speak to me.. I mean seriously beloved, we ARE the body! Why aren’t we doing anything?  Continue reading

Peace

Doesn’t that just sound so wonderful? AHHHH, just to enjoy your day, with no worries. If you have read my bio you know I have seven, yes seven children that God has blessed me with, not to mention He thought he would test my patience and get a little giggle when He blessed me with my husband who has three. We like to say we are the Brady Bunch remix! So finding peace is hard for me as you can imagine. Between running back and forth for parent/teacher conferences, MMA training and tournaments, and the typical teenage “drama” which I will later get into for you parents who need some encouragement! I’m not going to fib to you and tell you it was easy to find my peace, trust me, I struggled! Continue reading

Gods’ Love

ROMANS 8:31-39 JUST SAYS THIS ABOUT GODS’ LOVE FOR US:

I have been really getting into Gods’ love for us a lot lately, and I have to say I am in awe. His love for us is just awesome! Would you agree?

Gods love31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
